Born at the Tourcoing Jazz Festival in 2019, this project brings together four keyboardists who initially found their synergy in a repertoire of standards, allowing their camaraderie to shine through original compositions. With Pianoforte, Pierre de Bethmann, Bojan Z, Eric Legnini, and Baptiste Trotignon blend pianos and Fender Rhodes, virtuosity and arrangement skills. It's an undeniably captivating formula, as the quartet has already performed at major jazz festivals like Marciac, Les Cinq Continents in Marseille, Jazz à la Villette, and even Jarasum in South Korea.

A legendary jazz guitarist, John Scofield’s music has influenced countless musicians. Having performed at the Festival several times over the decades, he returns for this trio concert, his preferred format. With Vincente Archer on bass and Bill Stewart on drums, the three instrumentalists showcase their group's synergy through intuitive and masterful playing, leaving plenty of room for improvisation. Reflecting Scofield's musically diverse career, their set will span a wide repertoire, including original compositions, rock and blues classics, and jazz standards.

Winner of the Cully Jazz Mentorship Award 2024 for his immense potential, local guitarist Vincent Schmidt will present original compositions from "We'll Get There, Eventually," a new album recorded in collaboration with pianist and vocalist Natan Niddam. Niddam, active in emerging projects like the band ELÆNA, held a residency at Caveau des Vignerons in 2024. The duo’s collaboration, born during their studies at HEMU, weaves acoustic guitar and oud with piano and voice into a stunning musical tapestry. Their chemistry promises to take the audience on a melodic journey of sensitivity, nuance, and dynamism.
