Winner of the Cully Jazz Mentorship Prize in 2022, Justine Tornay first graced the Festival's stages with the HEMU Jazz Orchestra and later in OFF concerts with her band, J.NUNN. The local musician will perform at the Temple with the same project but in a more intimate acoustic trio format. Accompanied by piano and double bass, the singer and bugle player—always exploring new sounds—freely draws on her eclectic inspirations, giving her music unique nuances and textures. This musical moment invites us into her highly personal, delicate, and captivating world.
