Paula Oliveira & Léo Tardin PT / CH (GE)

Twenty years ago, Lisbon vocalist Paula Oliveira met Geneva pianist Léo Tardin while recording the album Lisboa Que Adormece with Portuguese double bassist Bernardo Moreira. Recognizing a shared musical sensibility, the two artists finally brought their affinities to life, combining the expressiveness, delicacy, and lyricism of the voice with the harmonic subtlety of the keyboard. For this intimate concert, they will perform songs by legendary composer Michel Legrand, presented in Portuguese for the first time. The duo will also delight us with a few pieces from previous projects, including the album of musical adaptations of José Saramago’s poems.
